Mandatory options or sections are marked with an asterik (*)<\/p>\n<h2>Selecting the browser(*)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8211;browser [firefox|chrome|ie]<\/strong> will start the browser via local Seleniumserver instance<\/p>\n<p>while<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8212; grid propertyfile<\/strong> will start the browser specified by the properties file via Selenium GRID hub<\/p>\n<p>For firefox we can specify additionally the profile either via its name or via the location of the profile file:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;ffprofile<\/strong>\u00a0profname<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211;ffprofdir<\/strong> profilefoldername<\/p>\n<h2>Selecting the external test case mgt system(*)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8211;xls<\/strong> excelfile.xls &#8230; followed by the name of the excel file<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;testlink<\/strong> tlexportfile &#8230; followed by the name of the testlink xml export file<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;zephyr<\/strong> project cycle &#8230; followed by the name of the project and the test cycle<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;trac<\/strong> catalogue testplan &#8230; followed by the name of the catalog and the test plan<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;dev<\/strong> excelfile.xls [zephyr|trac] &#8230; followed by the name of the xls file and the name of the\u00a0fallback external system (zephyr, trac) for retrieving sub tests<\/p>\n<h2>Specifying the Application under Test<\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8211;url<\/strong> starturl &#8230; followed by an URL that represents the location of the AUT\u00a0(application under test)<\/p>\n<h2>Additional parameters<\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8211;startTC<\/strong> tcid &#8230; only execute the one\u00a0test case with given ID<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;xywh<\/strong> XxYxWxH &#8230; move and size\u00a0the browser\u00a0window. The four arguments x-positon,\u00a0y-position, width and height are separated by an &#8220;x&#8221;. e.g. 100x200x300x400\u00a0will position the window at (100, 200) with size (300,400).<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;testdir<\/strong> testfolder &#8230; where to store\u00a0test step and objrepo\u00a0screenshots and warnings. Defaults to &#8220;tests&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;screenon<\/strong> &#8230; Enables the creation of automatic sreenshots. Default option.<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211;screenoff<\/strong> &#8230; Disables the creation of automatic sreenshots<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;batch<\/strong> &#8230; don&#8217;t pause on startup or at the end but run tests immediately and shutdown automatically&lt;\/li&gt;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;update<\/strong> &#8230; update status of test execution to external system. Default is not to update test execution\u00a0status<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<strong>timeout<\/strong> tmsec &#8230; abort test run execution after given amount of seconds. Default is &#8220;-1&#8221; meaning no timeout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;timeoutgui <\/strong>tmsec &#8230; timeout to wait for objects to appear\u00a0(default is 20 seconds)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When calling the test execution part of Seleniet one can choose from a plethora of options.
